Q. What is Membo?
A. Membo is a platform where you can search for and post member recruitment information for bands, theater groups, clubs, etc. It supports eight languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, Nepali, and Hindi, and can be used by users both in Japan and overseas.
Q. Do I need to register an account?
A. There is a guest mode available for viewing recruitment information without registration, but you will need to register an account to use convenient features such as posting, sending messages, and using the favorites function. You can register with your email address, or log in with your Google or Facebook account. Please register and use the convenient features.
Q. How do I create a recruitment post?
A. After logging in, click the "Create a post" button at the top of the recruitment page or the "pencil icon" button on the recruitment page or search page to display the post creation form. Enter the required information and post.
Q. How do I use the message function?
A. You can send a message to the poster by clicking the "Send a message" button on the recruitment details screen. You can exchange messages in real time. You can also send a message directly from the poster's profile. (*Member posts only)
Q. What is the Favorites feature?
A. This is a feature that allows you to bookmark jobs that interest you and access them easily later. Click the "Bookmark" icon on the job details screen to save it to your favorites list on My Page.
Q. How do I use the map search?
A. On the "Music Spots" page, you can search for practice studios, live music venues, music schools, etc. on a map. If you enable location information, nearby spots will be displayed. If you enable GPS search, it will automatically scan and search, so please use it.
Q. How do I change the language?
A. You can select Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, Nepali, or Hindi from the settings icon in the top right of the screen → "Language Settings." Job information will also be automatically translated into the selected language. The messaging feature also includes a simple translation function for messages from other users.
Q. What if I find an inappropriate post?
A. There is a report button on member posts. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please contact us using that button.
Basic usage
1. Search for job openings
- On the "Search" page, you can narrow your search by genre, instrument, region, etc.
- You can search for specific jobs by keyword.
- Search results can be sorted by newest, latest update, etc.
2. Post a job posting
- After logging in, click the "Create a Post" button
- Enter the title, description, recruitment details, area of activity, etc.
- You can also upload an image
- You can edit or delete your post even after it has been posted.
3. Communicate via messages
- Click "Send a message" from the recruitment details screen
- Messages are updated in real time
- Unread message notification feature (in preparation)
4. Manage your favorites
- Add your favorite job postings to your bookmarks
- Display the list from "Favorites" on My Page
- You will be notified when your bookmarked posts are updated (in preparation)
troubleshooting
If you can't log in
- Please check that you have allowed logins other than those using email addresses on the authentication screen for OAuth integration (Google, Facebook).
- Make sure cookies are enabled in your browser
- If that doesn't work, contact us
If you can't upload an image
- The file size may be too large (up to 10MB)
- Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF
- Please refresh your browser and try again
If you don't receive a message
- Please reload the page
- Check your internet connection
- The other person may have turned off notifications
